| 500 mile ranges for electric cars sounds too good to be true, and if it wasn't IBM saying so I would think it was just hype. As it is, IBM, the University of California at Berkeley and all five of our U.S. National Laboratories are collaborating on this effort to engineer the 500-mile battery for all-electric cars.
